Fantastic Opportunity to work as a production operative with a plastics and steel tank manufacturing company.
The role of a production operative includes
- Working on the Machines that mix plastic formulas.
- General manual labour - production operative
- Using a range of hand held tools eg: drills and saws.
- Setting up plastic moulds (Working at heights)
- Quality checking finished units.
- Loading finished units into correct storage areas ready for dispatch.
- Checking incoming products match relevant paperwork, so attention to detail and ability to use a tape measure is essential.
Key Information of production operative:
- Rotational shifts: 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm OR just nights- 10pm-6am Or just afters 2pm-10pm
- £10.50 per hour (£11.80 with holiday pay).
- Additional £60 per week for the afters, and £100 for the nights.
- Must be able to speak and communicate in English.
After a 12 week period you will then be eligible for a permanent production operative role
