A really exciting opportunity to work in rewarding industry for a well known plastics manufacturing company based in Swadlincote.
Production operatives required for immediate starts.
- Location: Swadlincote (DE11 9EU)
- Job Type: Temp - perm work
- No CSCS card required
- Rotational shifts : 5am-1pm/1pm-9pm
- Pay rate £10.78 per hour plus holiday pay
- Job title: Production Operatives
Duties will include:
- Manufacture of plastic components to required specification ensuring customer and quality requirements are met.
- Ensure product integrity is maintained, quality standards are met and waste is kept to a minimum acceptable level.
- Monitor, train and develop new recruits in their production skills base and ensure targets are achieved.
- Highlight, analyse and problem resolve process, equipment or quality problems efficiently with the involvement of appropriate departments to ensure productivity continuity.
- Check materials to ensure they meet manufacturing spec and that manufactured components are fit for purpose.
- Ensure moulds are clean and free of defects and tools are returned to tooling location in a satisfactory working condition.

Requirements:
- Ideally have own transport to Swadlincote
- You will be required to wear full PPE (glasses, hard hat, high viz & safety boots)
- MUST have working reference
