The Role - Production Supervisor
The successful Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing production operations making sure that manufacturing remains smooth and efficient by monitoring employees and organising workflows.
The Company
Boasting over 50 years of combined experience in their industry, with production undertaken in their 29,000 sq ft unit based in Leicestershire
Responsibilities
To set daily, weekly and monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
Organise workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
Oversee and coach employees
Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
Check production output according to specifications
Submit reports on performance and progress
Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
Ensuring high quality goods are manufactured first time, reducing waste
The Right Person
The successful Production Supervisor will have the following attributes and skills
Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role
Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
Organisational and leadership abilities
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Self motivated with a results driven approach
Good problem solving skills
An awareness of building regulations
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings & manuals
Whilst not essential, being able to speak Hindi and/or Gujarati would be an advantage
