Protocol are working with a fantastic college to recruit an experienced Assessor/Trainer in Hospitality specialising in Professional Cookery. The purpose of this role is to assess learner`s performance and/or related knowledge in a range of tasks and to ensure that the competence and/or knowledge demonstrated meets the requirements of the apprenticeship frameworks or standards.
Role responsibilities
Guide and support learners as to the required evidence for their NVQ or apprenticeship standard and to make judgments about that evidence
Support, train and guide learners and develop their personal and professional attitudes, skills and abilities with regard to assessment and verification
Respond positively and actively to curriculum development opportunities for new NVQ and Apprenticeship programme initiatives and bespoke employer training
Assess learners and provide feedback demonstrating a clear understanding of minimum requirements for competence whilst embedding maths and English
The person & qualifications
Must experience in assessing, planning, controlling and implementing Apprenticeship programs
Must experience and occupational competence in Hospitality
Must have to have a sound knowledge and understanding of Apprenticeship programmes
Must to be able to use own initiative and work unsupervised demonstrating self-management when under pressure and in demanding situations
Must have An assessor qualification (A1 or CAVA)
