Breedon Surfacing Solutions is seeking a Programme Coordinator to join us in our journey of being the best surfacing company ever.
Who We're Seeking to Join Our Team:
The successful candidate ideally holds 1-2 years of experience in an administrative, programme coordination or programme management role to manage the support activities necessary for successfully executing all aspects of programme management for an ever-growing surfacing market leader.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage their time to deliver a very busy and ever-changing programme of works. Fast pace is key in this industry and being flexible and focussed will ensure your success.
What is the Role:
Reporting to the Admin Manager, this position is responsible for all support activities necessary for executing the programme coordination for the surfacing division, to include wages submissions, coordination of labour and supply chain, support the development of data/report specifications, liaising with supply chain, organising kit moves, GRNs, raising and management of Purchase Orders, and overall programme coordination.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the operations manager and contracts manager to ensure that the Breedon surfacing programme runs on schedule and fits within the overall company-wide strategic goals to deliver effective outcomes
- Manages, and prepares site information given by supervisors in relation to vehicles, plant and any other enabling kit moves
- Processing of weekly wage runs in electronic format
- Works with the operations/ contracts managers to identify key programme dates, clashes, and opportunities to maximise delivery of works programme.
- Communicates with clients and suppliers to meet programme demands
- Record site information in relation to environmental objectives
- Project Management - Effectively manage timelines, coordinate with internal and external Associates
- Other - Provide back-up support by completing duties as required to meet the needs of the organisation
What We're Looking For:
- Education in Business Administration or equivalent (not essential as experience is preferred)
- Relevant administrative, or programme management/coordination experience
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel
- Ability to raise Purchase orders, learn the internal financial platform to GRN and raise POs
- Professional, outgoing personality that is confident to interact with clients
- Comfortable managing challenging programmes with regular changes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high pressure on a daily basis.
