Are you an experienced Programme or Project Manager working in the construction industry? Would you like the opportunity to progress in an organisation while receiving training in Agile methodologies?

  • Our Technology and Innovation team are continuing their Agile Transformation, accelerating the time to market, helping streamline operations management, and providing transparency in project progress and reporting. We are looking for someone with project management experience with a development plan to become a certified Scrum Master. The Programme Manager will be willing to learn 'Agile ways of working' and therefore help drive this transformation.

What will the role look like?

  • This role will be a key member of the Technical Function, supporting the management, assurance, and performance of projects, and providing support of opportunities from their transition to Agile ways of working.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • Establish a common planning, project management, and reporting structure across the team - laying the foundations for an Agile transformation.
  • Guide the Product development team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values.
  • Assessing the Agile/Scrum Maturity of the Product development team and organise the team at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for all
  • Support Product team in transitioning into Agile mindset accepting that each project will have its own trajectory to realisation of the goal.
  • Building a trusting and safe environment with an emphasis on problem-solving.
  • Supporting Product owner on grooming and maintaining the product backlog in Jira.
  • Manage Jira Sprint Board and team tasking
  • Help to improve sprint-team velocity.
