We're looking for a Project Administrator to join our Oxford Station team based in Oxford, Oxfordshire. Within this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, sharesave scheme, family friendly policies and even more.

Responsibilities

As a Project Administrator, you'll be working within the Oxford Station team, supporting with the multi-discipline station upgrade which will increase the station capacity by constructing an additional platform and associated track through the existing operational station. Your role will assist the Office Manager with project administration duties, implementing all, Kier Group's policies including those for SHE and risk management.

Your day to day will include:

  • Work alongside the Project Managers and Project Engineers transferring information into Excel spreadsheets and upload the data into the project management database systems
  • Data entry and analysis; including undertaking general administrative tasks such as scanning, photocopying, filing, ensuring that our database is populated with the most up to date information
  • Responsible for the entering of goods received notes (GRN's) into the Project finance system
  • Responsible for routing invoice matching, or invoice exception handling.
  • Establishment and maintenance of the project Time and Attendance system
What do we need from you?

This role of Project Administrator is great for you if:

  • Experience in a similar role with a proactive approach, strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
  • Must be proficient in Excel and Microsoft word.
  • Enthusiastic, collaborative approach, where you are able to work as part of a team to deliver objective of the department and company.
  • Knowledge and experience of management systems and processes used within a similar business, preferably in a Network Rail or comparable setting.
  • An able communicator with excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with the site engineers, Client, Client Representatives and the General Public both face to face and via telephone in a professional manner.
