Project Architect Job in Manhattan, New York

New opportunity available for a Project Architect / Architectural Interior Designer with corporate interiors experience to join an established and talented team of creatives in Mid-town Manhattan, New York.

Established in 2005, our client has grown and developed over the years, now completing circa 140 projects a year for a range of clients, both locally and internationally: typically ranging between 5,000 - 50,000 SF. This role will see you join their design team of 14, working alongside the Directors on a daily basis, you will be involved in all stages of design and have the opportunity to develop your career with a down-to-earth and progressive design firm in the heart of New York City.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist with document creation and development for the design of corporate interiors, facilities, communal spaces, and other real estate environments
  • Oversee the design scope as per contractual requirements and review/develop for code compliance
  • Construction administration, technical planning, and execution of project documents
  • Liaise with internal teams to understand project requirements
  • Coordination of MEP engineering parameters, as required
  • Site visits, as and when required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of experience, with prior experience working on corporate interiors projects
  • Degree qualified in Architecture, licensure preferred but not essential
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant work samples available of corporate interiors projects
  • US Citizenship or current work visa in place.
