Project Architectural Technologist Job in Central London

Project Architectural Technologist job now available with a multidisciplinary practice based in Central London. The role would see you taking a lead role in the running of projects from stage 3 onwards.

Established over 30 years ago, this client has 3 large offices based across the UK and is made up of a dynamic team of Architects, Technologists, Landscape Architects, Urban Designers and Interior Designers with the sole goal of designing and delivering quality buildings. The firm has built a diverse portfolio of work in a range of project sectors including education, mixed-use, commercial, residential and retail, and due to the continued success and organic growth of the studio, they are looking for someone to join the team on a permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working with the Project Architect on the running of projects
  • Collate and organise technical information
  • Produce all information necessary to submit applications to all relevant statutory authorities
  • Prepare and present design proposals
  • Act as a design lead and coordinate the larger design team
  • Work directly with clients
  • Preparation of drawing packages
  • Working with ArchiCAD and Sketchup on a daily basis
  • Support in the development of the BIM model
  • Assist with the preparation of NBS specifications.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years' experience as an Architectural Technician
  • Experience running Projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of UK building regulations is essential
  • Prior experience working on medium-large scale residential/education projects is preferred
  • Experience in using ArchiCAD would be highly beneficial, but training will be offered
  • Be located with one hour commute of the business.
