We have a fantastic opportunity in the lift industry for an experienced Project Coordinator to help manage and control projects from sales/ refurbishment to hand-over to completion at handover to client and maintenance.
The Project Co-Ordinator will assist the Modernisation Project Manager who is in charge of leading and managing refurbishment team to ensure safe, high quality, complete-on-time delivery of company solutions within budget.
The most successful candidates will come from the lift and escalator industry with at least 2 years experience as a Project Co-Ordinator or having Project Management as part of their key responsibilities. Also this Project Coordinator should have a strong technical understanding, advantageous if from the tools or Lift Design Background.
Project Coordinator Key Responsibilities:

Assisting the Project Manager in all his duties

Communicating professionally with Clients by email, phone and on site meetings

Responsibility for procedural and administrative aspects of lift installation projects

Serving as a point of contact for clients till completion of projects

Co-ordinating projects from design to manufacture, ensuring costs where within customer budget

Liaising with vendors for sourcing of materials and sub-contracted components, producing quotations for clients and internal audit.

Create database for company use detailing all information for projects for future use on repeat orders

To provide the business and its customers with a first line service desk and project scheduling and support function, providing the customer with a competent and accessible first point of contact for all post-installation queries.

To support the Project Management team by handling selected key business accounts / projects from order through to delivery and service.

Calculate quotations for repairs and maintenance and organise manpower and materials.

Send reports to customers following works being carried out.

Liaise with Technical Support design team to determine a course of action for any repair visits required.

Update and provide detailed reporting on the company's service / project management database.

To carry out any other such duties as may be required including taking sales calls and promoting company products.
