We're looking for a Project Controls Manager to join our Major Projects Devonport department based in Plymouth, Devon. Within this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, sharesave scheme, family friendly policies and even more.

Responsibilities

As a Project Controls Manager responsible for Supply and Procurement you'll be working within the major projects Devonport team, supporting them by taking ownership of a project by managing resources (people, finance and physical assets) in a safe and timely manner to the required quality.

Your day to day will include:

  • You'll develop and implement a project controls function across the business To assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks and implement group policies for risk management.
  • Ensuring projects have a robust and consistent process and procedures deployed and in use of KPI data, schedule, cost, management of change, risk management and reporting
  • You'll lead the development and production of periodic reports and collaborate with project teams, reviewing performance, undertaking appraisals and providing ongoing feedback.
  • To promote Kier Group's values towards its customers in order to meet or exceed their expectations, and fulfil the vision of becoming the most highly respected company in the industry
Who are we looking for?

This role of Project Controls Manager is great for you if:

  • Experienced in a Project Management or Project Controls within large, complex infrastructure or construction projects
  • Excellent communication and project management skills including leading and managing technical teams.
  • You'll be proficient in EVM processes and its application on construction projects Working towards their RICS/CICES chartership
  • You have knowledge of transport, major infrastructure or construction projects under various forms of contract.
  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
