On an exclusive basis, Precision People are yet again partnering with one of our closest clients in order to help them find and secure a Project Engineer/Project Manager to manage a variety of mechanical, electrical installation and commissioning projects.

THE COMPANY

They provide a complete turnkey solution across the aviation, aerospace, automotive and industrial markets. Their special purpose product consists of metal fabrication, electrical supply, control and lighting, extraction systems, ducting, flues and more.

THE ROLE

    Reporting to the Technical Director

    Cradle to Grave - you will be responsible and accountable for complete turnkey projects worth £10,000 - £750,000

    Managing multiple projects at once

    Your involvement starts at the offer stage and will remain under your management right through design, manufacture, installation and final payment

    Inclusive of managing the entire project is the responsibility over all onsite teams, this means you will be arranging and coordinating the Mechanical Installation, Electrical Installation, Wiring and Commissioning teams, along with ensuring H&S procedures are followed and adhered to.
    This includes employee and sub-contractor teams - both of which come with separate challenges

    Arrange and organise all onsite deliveries and logistics including plant hire and and transport


THE CANDIDATE

I am looking for a person who

  • Is based in or commutable to Leicester

  • Has a Project Engineering/Project Management background

  • Your project experience needs to derive from the Engineering, Shop Fitting or Construction industry, for example - machinery installation, HVAC / Ducting / Extraction system installation or even shop fitting

  • Project management experience which involves involves arranging and coordinating trades - mechanical, electrical, installation, commissioning etc
