Job Title: Project Engineer- Electrical biased
Location: Okehampton- Hatherleigh
Business Area: Kier Utilities- South West Water
Contract: Permanent- Full Time
We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services and we are now looking for a Project Engineer to join our alliance with South West Water, to manage electrical and associated plant for a contract to enable the project to be completed within the budget and time frame.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scoping, planning, programming and preparation of project programme for electrical aspects of works and to advise of progress and forecast
- Procurement of equipment and materials as well as assisting in the placement of sub-contract and material orders
- Maintain quality assurance records, approval and vet designs and producing operating & maintenance manuals
- Attend site progress meetings, produce reports and coordinate mechanical and civils works
- Advising Quantity Surveyors of changes to specification and the financial impact on a project
- Experience of working within the water industry
- Hold a NVQ 2 Electrical Installation/ NQV 3 Electrical Installation plus SSSTS or SMSTS
- Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
