I have an urgent vacancy for a Project Planner working for a tier 1 company.
The role will be located in West London is available immediately and will initially be for a 6 month period, with the potential to be a longer placement if both parties are happy. The client is one of the leading Tier 1 companies who we have worked with for a number of years.
The project that you will be working on is the replacement of a road bridge over a railway line. The current Project Planner is moving onto a new project so the client is looking for the right candidate to complete a handover period with the current planner and then take over the project after Christmas.
Your key responsibilities will be:
· Prepare and develop contract and construction programmes in conjunction with the project team
· Identify and communicate programme risks to the project team
· Collaborate in value engineering and programme improvement initiatives
· Review and incorporate sub contractors'/suppliers' programmes
· Explain programme milestones and planned outputs to project team
· Routinely monitor and report on outputs and progress, identify and explain any necessary actions
· Maintain as-built programmes
· Evaluate programme effects of changes
· Prepare programmes & provide support for claims/adjudication etc
· Assist in ensuring common formats exist for reporting to all parties
· Attendance at on-site meetings
Maintain site hours and develop a strong working relationship with the site team, and any other duties
The rates for this role are between £330 and £350 per day (LTD. Co.)
