Project Leads will enjoy working for a well-established General Contractor on a hyperscale Data Centre project in Dublin. In this role you will be leading the project from pre-construction all the way through to Commissioning and Handover, with responsibility of managing various subcontractors in the delivery of a Multi-Million-Pound package.

This is the perfect opportunity for a candidate with strong Data Centre experience to hit the ground running in a leadership role, delivering projects for Blue-Chip organisations and become an industry recognised specialist.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient and effective engineering and innovation performance shaping the program and delivery of the project.
  • Develop Project Planning Strategies - collaborating with the project teams to manage and motivate them
  • Manage, track and develop plans for project costs, budgets, project labour, commissioning procedures and project performance.
  • Direct the set up for the project, making sure that best practice meeting and reporting documentation and schedules are implemented from the outset.
  • Continuous engagement with key project stakeholders such as Client and Design Teams to ensure project performance.
  • Oversee ongoing client satisfaction with the project, especially in terms of cost, scope, and timescales
  • Proactively monitor the project's health & safety processes as well as the team's culture and behaviours
  • Monitor and ensure the quality targets are achieved and exceeded on the project

Skills & Qualifications

  • A BSc in a relevant construction or engineering subject.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, delivering a project from design to completion, including within a mechanical or Electrical contracting environment is essential.
  • Experience in delivering one or several concurrent projects more than €50Million in value.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, people and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required.
  • The ability to build robust relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers
  • A strong commercial awareness.
  • A flair for multitasking, looking at the bigger picture, and providing excellent attention to detail.
  • A proactive, diligent, and forward thinking approach.
  • First-class leadership skills - you should be able to delegate, prioritize workloads, run productive meetings and be a role model for others.
