Well Established Modular Contractor - Design and Build Projects as Principle Contractor
With a strong history of first class Modular Construction projects, this UK based Offsite Manufacturer seeks to recruit a Project Manager on a permanent basis.
Operating across the MOD, Commercial, Retail, Hotel, Student Accommodation and Education sectors, candidates can expect a diverse client group with Design and Build projects as Principle Contractor ranging in value from £1M-£8M. Reporting to a Contracts Manager this role will take an active involvement in pre-construction and planning phase of contracts, managing the construction phase from inception to handover.
This role will require:
- Managing education projects to programme/budget
- Complete projects incident and injury free
- Complete projects to agreed specification and quality
- Manage and co-ordinate subcontractors
Knowledge and skills:
- Good understanding of developing project programmes using MS Project software
- Production of risk assessments and production of RAMS
- Good understanding of managing health, safety, welfare and environmental issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Strong customer facing skills and communication with the client and all team members throughout every project
- Experience in demolition works
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience Project Managing Education projects
- Experience in Design and Build Contracts
- Strong communication skills
