Within Kier Utilities we support UK Power Networks in 'keeping the lights on' for 8.2m customers throughout the South and the South East. As part of an Alliance, comprising UKPN, Wood Group, Morrison Utility Services and Clancy Docwra we are charged with delivering a £1bn programme in the 2016-2023 ED1 regulatory period.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for coordinating and leading civils works on sub stations and new HV connections, you will oversee multiple subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and direct labour resources.
To be successful you will have previous experience within a similar role within cabling and substation connections up to 132kv. You will have the ability to build strong client relationships and a strong understanding of UKPN specifications and industry standards. Due to the nature of the role you will need to hold a full driving licence and an SMSTS / CSCS Black card.
