Within Kier Utilities we support UK Power Networks in 'keeping the lights on' for 8.2 million customers throughout London, the South and the South East. As part of the ED1SON Capital Delivery Alliance- comprising UK Power Networks, Morrison Utility Services and Clancy Docwra- we are charged with delivering a £1billion+ project programme in the 2016-2023 ED1 regulatory period.
As project Manager you will be responsible for coordinating and leading civils and HV cabling works on sub stations and new major connection, overseeing multiple subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and direct labour resources.
What do we need from you?
To be successful you will have previous experience within a similar role within HV cable installations and substation works up to 132kV. You will have the ability to build strong client relationships and a strong understanding of the UK Power Networks DSRs, specifications and industry standards. Due to the nature of the role you need to hold a Full Driving Licence, SMSTS and CSCS/ EUSR Power Card.
