Within Kier Utilities we support UK Power Networks in 'keeping the lights on' for 8.2 million customers throughout London, the East and the South East. As part of the ED1SON Capital Delivery Alliance- comprising UK Power Networks, Morrison Utility Services and Clancy Docwra- we are charged with delivering a £1billion+ project programme in the 2016-2023 ED1 regulatory period with the opportunity to extend into the ED2 period which runs to 2028
As Project Manager you will be responsible for coordinating and leading civils and HV cabling works on substations and new major connections, overseeing multiple subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and direct labour resources.
To be successful in this role you'll ideally have excellent communication, organisation and time management skills. It is essential that you have a UK Driving License and you are educated to a degree level or equivalent experience in this type of position. You will have the ability to build strong client relationships. Flexibility is also key for this role.
