As a result of continued, sustained growth an experienced Project Manager with the ability to successfully deliver multiple installation projects across the UK is required to join a leading, well established manufacturer of roller shutters, security doors and loading bays. Our client is a family-run company that takes ethics and moral values seriously - integrity, honesty, reliability, accountability and teamwork are the words they live by.

Project Managers are an integral part of the company - responsible for the tricky balancing act of running multiple projects, ensuring an excellent experience for multiple clients - whilst delivering the projects on budget. You're not on your own though - back up is provided by the Projects Director, Operations Manager & Project Coordinator as well as cross-department to give you the best chance of success.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous project management experience from within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Experience of successfully managing and delivering multiple projects of varying size and complexity across the UK
  • Experience of working closely with contractors and sub-contractors
  • Well-organised and technically adept with a thirst for learning
  • Hard-working, honest and dependable
  • Practical and common-sense approach to uncovering problems and providing solutions
  • Able to cope with high-pressure situations & happy to go the extra mile
  • Able to balance conflicting viewpoints, for example great customer service vs cost control



Key Responsibilities

  • Management of all new projects - On Time, Snag-Free
  • Manage materials procurement on or below budget & to correct technical standards
  • Manage resources on time & budget
  • HSQE management within projects
  • To earn recommender feedback & repeat business from clients
