We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services, amongst other we are working on a BT Contract, and we're looking for Project Manager to join our Telecoms team in Basingstoke.

We are now recruiting for a Project Manager to join our Telecoms team in Basingstoke.

Key Responsibilities

As the Project Manager you will be part of our delivery team, responsible for end to end delivery of FTTP committed KPI's as well as providing leadership, direction, and development of the wider team.

As the Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with the local authorities (ensure appropriate notices and work programme agreements etc.)
  • Co-ordination of work stack/multiple contractors/DLO in line with delivery programme, ensuring delays are minimised by resolving operational issues to enable swift job closure and invoicing
  • Ensuring prompt and accurate completion and return of relevant compliance documentation
  • Ensuring relevant Health and Safety standards are followed and achieved
  • Leading and developing a team to successfully meet and exceed both Kier/Openreach expectations

    What do we need from you?
  • In-depth knowledge of Openreach specifications & documentation is desirable
  • Experience in FTTP build - Fibre cable installation / splicing / testing
  • Previous experience of a similar role in a similar work stream
  • Strong flex / fibre background, preferably with a proven track record in managing field operational teams in a Telecommunications delivery environment
  • SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable)
  • NRSWA accreditation to supervisor (desirable)
  • Full Driving License
