Responsibilities

As Project Manager, you'll be working across the business coordinating the design and delivery of several large highway improvement schemes, working closely with our design, construction and commercial teams.

Your day to day will include:

  • Acting as a point of contact, maintaining relationships with the client, all stakeholders, design and construction teams and service providers
  • Managing the delivery of projects to high standards through excellent budgeting and programming skills whilst incorporating health, safety, environment and quality considerations
  • Looking after all phases of the project, including early contractor involvement, through project inception, to close out, to meet all contractual requirements
  • Driving value engineering and efficiencies within design and construction phases, capturing and reporting change
  • Guiding and escalating on all risk matters relating to the contract
  • Who are we looking for?

    This role of Project Manager, is great for you if you can:

  • Bring learning accolades such as a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Show experience of working on major / large highways improvement schemes within a local authority environment, with an understanding of the governance and assurance processes
  • Demonstrate knowledge of managing highways design and delivery programmes and budgets with sound health & safety knowledge including CDM 2015
