We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Major Projects Devonport department based in Plymouth, Devon. Within this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, sharesave scheme, family friendly policies and even more.

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager you'll be working within the major projects Devonport team, supporting the team with managing, monitoring, developing and driving all aspects of the Dockyard works.

Your day to day will include:

  • Ensure the project is running on time
  • Keeping the project within H&S regulations and that it is running in line with clients needs
  • To manage the project Budget alongside the Commercial team and ensure the project runs to budget
  • Stakeholder management - including Senior Management and the Client
  • Management of all teams on site - including Site Supervisors/Operational Teams/Sub-contractors
Who are we looking for?

This role of Project Manager is great for you if:

  • Relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree)
  • Chartership with ICE or working towards
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the main management systems and processes used within a similar business.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills including leading and managing technical teams within a competitive business environment.
  • Able to take the lead with client interfaces and manage project delivery on technical and business aspects of team outputs.
  • Able to establish project requirements and drive the team to deliver the required outputs in terms of quality, cost and programme.
