Project Manager Job in Ashford, Kent
Project Manager job working for a regional leading housebuilder on a new development in Kent. Our client is looking for a Project Manager to join their ever-expanding team.
Our client is an established regional leading housebuilder, winner of best small companies to work for in the UK and an HBF 5* housebuilder. Since the company was launched, they have always had the target of becoming bigger and better. At present, they employ over 200 people with an annual turnover of £105m.
Role & Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the delivery of specific development
- Plan the overall Construction Phase Plan down to each construction phase, including all necessity short term detailed programmes
- Prepare the site overhead budget and monitor throughout the project duration
- Analyse and report against the Construction Programme on a weekly basis
- Pre-construction work with the Technical Manager to ensure design drawings are procured and issues to match the Construction Programme
- Review the construction drawings to ensure best practice and commercial sustainability is achieved
- Role of Project Manager will mostly be site based and will be reporting into the Construction Director
- Overall responsibility for all health, safety and welfare for all operatives and visitors on development.
Required Skills & Experience
- A proven track record in successful delivery of residential developments
- Housebuilder experience
- Snag R experience would be desirable
- Hold current SMSTS certificate and CSCS card
- Full UK Clean driving license.
