I am representing a well established Multidisciplinary consultancy firm with clients based across the South East of England. Due to the increased work load is looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to their team to assist with an exciting new project in the Brighton area.

My client has a great reputation in the industry and have the benefit of working cohesively across all disciplines with the firm, this helping assist to the success and growth of the business in recent years. As a result of this they are working on some of the most sought after projects in the area, making this opportunity an exciting prospect for any aspiring Project Manager.

You will be given the opportunity work alongside an elite team of PMs, who will be able to assist and provide you with the guidance and knowledge to help take your career to the next level, whether it being towards your next promotion, further PM responsibilities, or progressing through your APC towards Chartership.

Duties

  • Be confident in assisting in aspects of the development process.
  • Assist with the development of project documentation, programmes, phasing, master budget, risk register, etc.
  • Establish lines of communication and reporting procedures with the client and within the design team.
  • Arrange and oversee feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation, etc.
  • Working with senior colleagues in establishing detailed client's brief and responsibilities of consultants and specialists.
  • Agreeing project drawings, specifications and phasing /programmes with proposed tenants and representatives.
  • Assist in the overseeing of the feasibility design and tender process to ensure the client brief and project requirements are met.
  • Liaise with the client on specification, variations, budget, etc.
  • Attendance in meetings, chair progress, co-ordination and project meetings on some projects.
  • Assist with preparation of regular reports to clients on all aspects of the project.

Candidate Requirements

  • 3 years plus experience within consultancy and managing development projects.
  • Chartered status is not essential.
  • Able to commute to Brighton area.
  • Consultancy, healthcare, major project is ideal but not a must.
  • Good experience in complex projects or programmes as a project manager or PMO specialist.
  • A flexible work approach, prepared to travel in the South East of England and hold a full driving licence.
  • Ability to work in a close team environment, and also work remotely with limited supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office package.
