Job Title: Project Manager- Decarbonisation

Location: Agile working with reporting base in Solihull

Business Area: Kier Utilities Decarbonisation Solutions (KUDS)

Contract: Permanent- Full Time

Kier Utilities Decarbonisation Solutions (KUDS) is a new business unit within the much wider Kier business where we will aim to offer a turnkey solution for electric vehicle charging point infrastructure design and installation services, combined with a growing menu of net zero infrastructure solutions.

We are looking for a Project Manager to join this team, to work closely with the Head of Decarbonisation to proactively pursue opportunities that lead to positive funding initiatives. Working closely with the team, you will be able to advise on external and internal funding initiatives relating to Decarbonisation & Sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage, feasibility, design, installation, handover and maintenance for all of your projects
  • Ensure all commercial governance is in place as part of the process and ensure targets are met, whilst implementing and complying with Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the commercial team to produce cost and value reports, along with providing monthly reports to use in stakeholder meetings
  • Assist in the planning of work on site and completing relevant audits
What do we need from you?

As an experienced individual in decarbonisation, you will be qualified to Prince 2 practitioner level. You will hold a qualification of Electrical Installation C&G 2360 & Inspection, Testing & Electrical Installations C&G 2391 or equivalent. You will have demonstrable experience of managing and leading a team, be able to engage with multiple stakeholders and have a good commercial understanding.
