Project Manager - Refurbishments & Service Contracts

Location: UK Coverage
Location: West Yorkshire
Commutable from: Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, York, Harrowgate
Salary: £40-£45k DOE plus Pension, company car/allowance & a host of other benefits
A great opportunity has come up to join a successful multinational lift company covering the UK, working on installation projects so experience installing and/or testing lifts is required.
Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a Refurbishments & Service Contracts background. The ideal candidate will come from the lift industry with an engineering background
The Role
Carrying out site surveys and audits (beginning/during/end of project)
Ordering and sourcing materials
Primary point of contact for customer, site management, construction teams and manufacturer
Ability to read/check drawings, lift specifications and design requirements
Managing site labour and subcontractors where required
Programming works, testing and completing handovers to clients on completion
Keeping accurate records of projects
Cost management (invoicing and financial flow for project)
Working alongside the design team, office administration for ongoing correspondence emails, planning, drawings and also producing the O&M Manuals
The Candidate
Experienced Project Manager / Installation Supervisor (minimum of 5 years)
NVQ Level 3 qualification / J Modules / HNC / HND (Not essential)
Experience in the Lift Industry (10 years+)
Great communication & organisation skills
Effective time management
Customer focused
Full UK Driving License
Strong Team Leadership Skills
Characteristics: hard working, reliable, good time management skills, customer service, team player
