Project Quality Manager - Data Centre

We're working with a market leading Contractor who are seeking a Quality Manager to join their team on the delivery of a Hyperscale Data Centre project in Belgium.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Project Director you shall be the Project's technical resource for Construction Quality Management on your designated Project.
  • Develop and manage the implementation of the Project's Construction Quality Management Program as outlined in the clients Project Manual and supporting documents.
  • Reviews the Client's Construction Quality Assurance Program to ensure alignment with this Program.
  • Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all Project Contractors relative to the General Contractor and the Clients construction quality requirements and means to enhance processes in order to meet the project objectives.
  • Is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and distribution of this Plan.
  • Shall review and approve Sub Contractors Quality submittals - Quality Plans, ITP's.
  • Implementation of the Project Benchmark / First of Kind program.
  • Shall attend the Construction weekly meetings and lead the Quality Meeting with Sub-Contractors.
  • Shall verify that the project's Quality team is implementing the key elements of their Quality Plan, particularly for items such as: checking of installation works, checking Sub-Contractor compliance to the ITPs and uploading of Quality records and Test documentation to BIM 360.
  • Shall manage the Contractors and Sub-Contractors to ensure that all BIM Issues and Construction Non-Conformance Reports are logged, distributed, tracked and monitored to close out before planned asset completion dates.
  • Conduct Failure Investigations including Root Cause Analysis to ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
  • Responsible for the implementation and championing of the Lessons Learned process.
  • Champion the implementation of the Lean Construction process and in particular waste elimination due to rework.
  • Development and weekly publication of Quality Dashboard Report.
  • Development and implementation of the Construction Clean Build Program.
  • Ensures all Contractor and Subcontractor personnel have received the Site Quality Induction.
  • Responsible for the implementation of the Walkdown procedure as per the agreed project procedure.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ Years' experience in a similar role within a construction environment with experience in Commercial, Industrial, pharma, data centre type projects.
  • BS in Construction Management or Engineering
  • Experience utilizing Autodesk BIM360 Field software
  • Experienced in personnel management, staffing and scheduling
  • Process driven and focuses on Quality Work Management Systems and Processes
