Position: Project Quantity Surveyor
Location: Galway
Salary: Competitive salary and package on offer
Our client, a leading Main Contractor, with projects across Ireland which include Pharma, Healthcare, Commercial, Education, and Residential are now looking to recruit an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Galway.
Main Responsibilities:
- Undertaking cost analysis of subcontractor packages.
- Performing risk, value management and cost control
- Responsible for all aspects of cost management on projects.
- Preparing tender and contract documentation.
- Preparing payment certificates in accordance with company systems and procedures.
- Management of the change control process.
- Liaising with client and design team.
- Appointing and managing subcontractors and suppliers.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or the equivalent.
- Chartership or working towards same is preferred but not essential.
- 3+ years' experience with a Main Contractor in Ireland or UK.
- Strong experience in preparing valuations, variation management, CVR reporting, payment certificates etc.
