The Role - Proposals Coordinator

The successful Proposals Coordinator will be responsible for taking ownership of all tender requests to ensure that they are managed, and completed in line with the time scales set out as well as providing support to the sales team as and when required.

In existence for over 80 years, my client deliver high quality products and services creating value for their customers. Offering Design, manufacture, installation and supply of in-vehicle equipment.

Responsibilities

  • To produce a Tender schedule spreadsheet where all ongoing and new tenders are recorded making sure that the document is up to date at all times
  • Responsible for the overall quality and correctness of the commercial and technical information given and to present the proposal to management for review and approval prior to final publication
  • Work in cooperation with sales to develop a comprehensive knowledge of customer/market drivers during the tender process to ensure that specific opportunities are fully utilised
  • Logging and maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of all tenders completed.
  • To take full ownership of all activities / work performance within a tender to ensure that the proposal process stays on schedule

The Right Person

The successful Proposals Coordinator will have the following attributes.

  • Previous experience of generating tenders, proposals or quotations
  • Be a proficient user of MS Office and CRM packages
  • Experience of dealing with clients both by telephone and face to face
  • An understand/exposure to a Sales Process
