We are seeking a skilled and experienced PTS Operative with Medium Confined Spaces and Top Man Training to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of rail projects across Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in railway operations and be comfortable working in confined spaces while ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Rates Negociable
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out site works in accordance with project requirements and safety procedures.
- Work within medium confined spaces and operate as a top man when required.
- Assist in maintenance, installation, and repairs within the rail infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members and site supervisors.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow work instructions and adhere to project deadlines.
Requirements:
- PTS (Personal Track Safety) Certification - Essential.
- Medium Confined Spaces Certification - Essential.
- Top Man Training Certification - Essential.
- Experience working within the rail industry.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
