We are seeking a skilled and experienced PTS Operative with Medium Confined Spaces and Top Man Training to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of rail projects across Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in railway operations and be comfortable working in confined spaces while ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Rates Negociable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out site works in accordance with project requirements and safety procedures.
  • Work within medium confined spaces and operate as a top man when required.
  • Assist in maintenance, installation, and repairs within the rail infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and site supervisors.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow work instructions and adhere to project deadlines.

Requirements:

  • PTS (Personal Track Safety) Certification - Essential.
  • Medium Confined Spaces Certification - Essential.
  • Top Man Training Certification - Essential.
  • Experience working within the rail industry.
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
