Kier is looking to recruit a Public Liaison Officer, who will report to the Senior Project Manager. The successful post-holder will be responsible for providing project public liaison support for all aspects of the designated business stream activities from pre-construction to project handover.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the client in preparing project stakeholder engagement/ communications plans.
- Assist the project delivery team in maintaining day to day liaison with landowners, tenants and local residents.
- Single public liaison point of contact for the project/ the appointed Public Liaison Officer (PLO).
- Maintain records of all consultation, including actions taken as a result of communications received from the public or stakeholders during construction.
- Take responsibility for the production of newsletters, website updates and any other wider public communication required for the project.
- Assist the client with setting up drop-in sessions/ community events and provide information required to facilitate these events.
- Be responsible for delivering the Contractors obligations with regards to section 3 of CEEQUAL* assessment (Communities and Stakeholders). This includes community consultation, assessment of demographics, public liaison and the management of a Stakeholder Engagement Plan.
- Be responsible for delivering the Contractors obligations under the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
- Ensure a consistent approach to public liaison across all regional civils projects in the South West.
- Can demonstrate relevant experience as a community officer/ public liaison officer.
- Good self-motivation
- Good organisation skills and time management
- Knowledge of full MS Office suite including Project, Project Server and SharePoint
