We're looking for a Purchase Order Administrator to join our team in Basingstoke. Within this role, you can enjoy exposure to exciting projects, progressions opportunities and even more.

Location: Basingstoke - office based

Contract & hours: Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week


Responsibilities

As a Purchase Order Administrator you will be supporting the Commercial & Finance team, your role will be instrumental in ensuring invoices are managed and system queries are resolved effectively.

Your day to day will include:

  • Checking worksheets, approved quotes and raising purchase orders whilst supporting sub-contractors with any payment issues

  • Obtaining Goods Received Notes (GRNs) & chasing returns as necessary, promoting discipline in this area and ensuring accurate recording of deliveries by sites

  • Liaising with site managers/ procurement department / suppliers to resolve queries efficiently


Who are we looking for?

This role of Purchase Order Administrator is great for you if you:

  • Have experience working within a complex organisation within an accounting role & understand fundamental accounting principles

  • Have good IT skills to include experience with Oracle eBS, Outlook & Excel (must be intermediate and be confident with pivot tables & lookups)

  • Have a Full Driving License as there will be occasional travel to site for training
