Position: QAQC Officer

Location: Dublin

Salary: Neg DOE

The Job:

The candidate will be required to support our Senior Engineers and Management Team in the implementation and control of all QA/QC elements across all projects. This role is a full-time permanent position and will be based out of our head office/warehouse in Ballycoolin, Dublin 11.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support on variety of projects to Senior Engineers and the Management Team.
  • Ensure that the installation, inspection and testing of all the mechanical equipment, fittings and work implemented meets the specification and the consultant requirements
  • Verify the accuracy of shop drawings and their compliance to the specification, consultant's design and existing local authority standard.
  • Coordinate with other project personnel to ensure that deadlines, procedures, and other project requirements are met.
  • Regular reporting on workload and targets.
  • Maintain all documentation in an organised and controlled manner, in compliance with client procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum level six craft certificate or third level equivalent.
  • Full practical understanding of plumbing, HVAC systems and operations.
  • Minimum 2 - 4 years' post graduate experience within Mechanical Services and HVAC.
  • Ability to prioritise workload according to deadlines.
  • IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and to a high standard.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Applicants must have fluent English and be eligible to work in Ireland
  • Good understanding of ISO process/procedures would be advantageous
