MEP Managers who have experience carrying out Quality Control and Quality Assurance positions will enjoy working for a leading General Contractor in the delivery of a Hyperscale Data Centre project in Dublin. Manage the QA/QC of MEP installations from a General Contractor perspective, reviewing specification and making sure the delivery lines up with that specification. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role on this project, working closely with a major Blue-Chip organisation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support, develop and implement the Project QC strategy (what, how, who, when and where) in accordance with the relevant standards and specifications.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager on all QC matters related to activities or task orders
  • Liaise with Quality Manager to identify and co-ordinate the QC inspection support necessary to meet quality requirements / expectations.
  • Ensure all QC activities are co-ordinated effectively.
  • Develop and manage the project specific ITP schedule
  • Manage and deliver the Quality management reporting to the plan of the week meeting (PLOW).
  • Contribute to the development of the Project Audit Management Programme.
  • Manage and deliver the project QC Induction Training.
  • Deliver the project requirements and/or expectations to contractors and reinforce client expectations during Quality meetings and briefings.
  • Ensure contractors are supported in development of their QC management systems, offering best practice from other areas.
  • Ensure the Project inspection resource provides guidance to the supply chain on QC matters where required.

Personal Requirements

  • Electrical or Mechanical Degree level qualification
  • 3-5 years' experience in a QA Lead role managing quality for large MEP projects
  • Data Centre experience essential
  • Management experience in a Quality role
