Introduction:
Kier Major Projects is seeking to recruit a Quality and Compliance Manager. To work with the site team to establish and ensure the effective implementation of the Quality Management System, compliance with contract quality requirements and the compilation of records to demonstrate the conformity of the works.
Key responsibilities:
Ensuring an effective Project Quality Management System (QMS) is established, implemented and maintained at all levels.
Liaise with the Clients representative to fully integrate Project quality and handover compliance requirements.
Ensure Audits, both internal and external are managed in accordance with the QMS & Audit Schedule. The findings of which are managed to suit project requirements.
Review and evaluate Inspection & Test plans including those of sub-contractors prior to the commencement of work activities, the ongoing monitoring of construction records, reviewing acceptance criteria of completed quality record for completeness.
Providing training/mentoring on the requirements of the Quality Management System, encouraging feedback and engagement from all the project team.
Assist the Project Managers in the setting of project objectives and targets to measure and monitor quality performance encouraging the philosophy of Continuous Improvement.
Skills and experience required:
HND or Degree in Construction or related subject.
Lead a Quality Management Team focused on project delivery.
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Trained
Good communication skills and meticulous about meeting standards and customer expectations.
