Our client is a leading skills and workforce development organisation. Their aim is to drive the quality of competence training and assessment by ensuring complete alignment with learner, employer and industry expectations.
As a Quality Assurance Lead you will be required to implement, and where appropriate assist in the development of, various aspects of the organisation's business plan. This will involve undertaking provider approvals related work, a large amount of co-ordination, administration and scheduling quality programme approvals work and provider approval work. In addition, managing and maintaining relationships with clients, delivering training events, consultancy support and any other aspects of the current and future service line development and implementation. The role will also be managing audits, this includes completing audits on the approvals and also their train the trainer processes. This could also lead to unannounced and announced visits and audits for approved schemes and train the trainer schemes.
Responsibilities:
Assessing Provider, Programme and Trainer Approval submissions against best practice criteria; following related processes to ensure that the robustness and validity of quality processes are maintained.
Application of sanctions, actions and quality control measures with strong evidence and recording of the mentioned in professional way to minimise risk to the business and to learners.
Auditing the quality of the submitting organisations and trainer's provision relating to Employers, Providers, Programmes, Trainers and Assessors to verify continued adherence to best practice.
Administration duties includes, although are not limited to; the logging of approval information, to ensure evidence is scanned and/or stored securely, report writing, which will include detailed reports stating outcomes for customers, training and development and tackling. Scheduling and maintaining internal software database and CRM systems. Diary management and working with administration teams to show strong customer and client skills.
Acting as an expert for learning and assessment approval, programmes, upskilling programmes within what is a safety critical environment. Also ensuring auditing processes and systems.
Candidates must have:
Must have a minimum of an IQA qualification and employment background in an IQA role.
Ideally a background in one of the following - utilities, energy, construction, etc.
Strong skills in training and development
Self-motivated and able to co-ordinate their own diary, etc.
