Are you an expert in extracting data and metrics? Analysing, then creating and implementing a plan? Can you combine your data background with "Quality Assurance"? If so, we need your expertise for our prestigious project based in West London.

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be taking a lead role in the accumulation of handover paperwork in line with the contract requirements and ensure that Quality is delivered within the project and by the Project Supply Chain, consistently on time.

Quality delivery is essential to the Project's success, from PCSA to Post Practical Completion and Liability Periods thereafter. You will play a pivotal role in delivering the success of the project.

Key Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide Quality support to the Project Teams at all levels through enabling and assurance. This will include the establishment, implementation and maintenance of key Project Quality deliverables including plans (i.e. Quality Plan, Handover Plan, Defect Mitigation Plan), procedures, guides, and templates.
  • Provide reports and data as required by Europe Hub Quality functional leadership
  • Experience in the design process and data background is desirable.
  • Ensure the provision and review of Inspection and Test Plans and other execution documents including those prepared by Suppliers.
  • Provide guidance in the preparation of these as needed including the governance and implementation of digital solutions for Quality records, progressive assurance, and completion.
  • Complete statistical analysis on identified Non-Conformance and provide regular reports to inform on Quality performance. Facilitate learning and improvement through 8D, Root Cause Analysis and Collective Insight Workshops.
  • Support the assessment of subcontractors and suppliers providing regular Quality oversight and engagement to ensure critical controls are being met.
  • Internal /External Stakeholder Management Supporting the procurement process as a Quality stakeholder through the Tender process.
  • Promote the various management policies, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Responsible for developing and monitoring Quality performance through effective and reliable reporting as required by the project.
  • Provide direct feedback and advice to the project and site management on the effectiveness of Quality Control activities with the authority to stop work if workmanship or materials do not conform to project requirements.
  • Provide training and support to the Project Teams on areas such as process, and requirements via tool box talks, inductions etc including coaching and mentoring.
  • For High-Risk Buildings subject to Building Safety Act, ensure Project compliance with the Project lifecycle gateway steps and associated governance.
  • During the construction stages of the project, ensuring we are compliant with the Utilisation of Field View and report/managing, Outstanding works Snagging list and providing stat's on both To be overseen and managed accordingly O&M manual population as build drawings.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in Quality Management on projects of similar complexity in Construction and Engineering. Experience would be considered from other industries.
  • Practical experience in developing, implementing, and improving Quality Management systems including the generation and maintenance of key Quality documents such as Inspection and Test Plans and Quality Plans.
  • Good experience with ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent.
  • A member of the Chartered Quality Institute (or an equivalent recognised Quality body) or an appropriate engineering institute.
  • Hold a formal audit qualification or have access to qualified lead and internal auditors.
