Quality Assurance Manager Job in Dorset
I have a Quality Assurance Manager job based in Dorset, joining the development arm of one of the largest property groups in the UK. You will oversee and carryout inspections and commissioning of units. The role is paying up to £55,000 + £6,768 car allowance + Bonus
Our client is one of the UK's largest residential development, regeneration, and property management businesses, they have around 12,000 employees, an annual turnover in excess of £800 million and over £4 billion in assets. Established for over 50 years, they provide not just buildings but sustainable communities across the private sector, assisted living, retirement and leisure sectors. You will be reporting into the Regional Head of Customer Service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Comply with all group procedures and external regulations including NHBC
- Uphold the companies reputation with customers, suppliers and the larger community
- Ensure service levels and customer satisfaction is always maintained
- Oversee on site quality assurance in line with legal requirements
- Provide training from personal experience and knowledge from the industry
- Liaise with NHBC and local authorities
- Attend meeting that will give you full knowledge about all aspects of the site
- Keep track of performance of the site teams
- Make sure all sites' jobs are carried out and documented
- Support the department with what they need, to improve continuously
- Coordinate all activities with the relevant site management team
- Identify areas for improvement across the team and take action
- Show a want and desire for teamwork
- Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance within the construction industry
- Understand quality control procedures and all legal standards that come with it
- Show you have worked well being part of a team
- Be flexible in order to deliver positive outcomes for the team
- Expert level communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent computer literacy
- Full and clean driving licence
- CSCS card
