Job Title: Quality Control Engineer

We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services and we are looking for a Quality Control Engineer to join our Utilities team in Bournemouth.
As Quality Engineer you will be responsible for the onsite quality control and monitoring for packages of works (MEICA & Civils activities) to meet water industry/ South West Water's standards and specifications. The role would suit those with a project engineering background on MEICA projects that interface with civils activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor onsite works quality through inspections and physical checks to ensure compliance and indicate the necessary actions in collaboration with construction team to resolve minor deficiencies
- Liaise with Client's nominated person for matters relating to quality control of Works and organise inspections
- Ensure quality documentation and records are appropriately collated and maintained
- Hold HND or Degree in Construction or related subject or a trade background with experience in QC
- Demonstrable knowledge and practical application of quality control activities
- Able to interpret MEICA & Civil engineering drawings and specification, as well as ability to keep clear and accurate records and reports
- Hold a full driving licence and CSCS card
