Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector
The successful candidate will be comfortable working on the shop floor for this Leicester manufacturer where they will perform audits, tests and inspections of materials, work in progress and finished goods whilst using inspection tools and instruments. They will be able to determine product compliance against drawings, processes and technical specifications. They will be responsible for identifying and documenting material non-conformity in addition to recording and filing test reports and audits. They will have an ability to work in at team.
Requirements of the Quality Inspector
You will have a mechanical engineering background, with a knowledge of steel standards and certifications. You will be able to read engineering drawings, and have proficient IT skills. You will be familiar with ISO standards and be familiar with Romer Absolute Fara Arm and the use of CMM equipment. You will be happy to work in Leicester.
