Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Business area: Kier Construction - Build Northern & Scotland

Contract: Full time, permanent (Monday to Friday)

Key responsibilities:

Are you a Quality Manager who has the technical knowledge and experience to facilitate continual improvement in projects and the capability to develop and maintain systems to measure performance? Providing quality and visible leadership and quality inspections on site, as well as identifying risks and controls through tender stage to completion, you will work closely with the delivery and aftercare teams and the supply chain. You will be working with the preconstruction team to identify risks and controls at tender stage as well as the projects team until handover and completion. You will need to encourage work to be kept to Kiers standards by communicating with internal and external stakeholders, whilst using Airsweb and SharePoint for reporting. We will be looking for you to drive continuous improvement organising on site quality training through our suppliers with the project teams and looking at setting up post project reviews to capture valuable lessons learned, the successful candidate ideally will have working knowledge of digital quality management tools such as SnagMaster and drive consistent use across all projects supporting the
teams in training.


What do we need from you?

A sound knowledge of construction, quality management standards and quality control tools. Also, bring your communication and people management skills to the role to enable you to succeed.
