Position: Quality Manager

The Job: You will report to the Operations Director and will play a pivotal role in upholding the companies reputation for exceptional quality and reliability. You will be responsible for overseeing and continuously improving our quality management system to ensure the highest level of performance in all aspects of the Company's operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance - Implement, improve and maintain a robust quality management system to plan, monitor and evaluate all phases of our mechanical projects, from design phase through to installation and maintenance.
  • Compliance - Ensure ongoing compliance with industry and quality standards, codes, regulations, and customer specifications, with particular focus on ensuring the retention of our existing ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001 standards certification.
  • Process Improvement - Identify areas for process improvement and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices that will enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Documentation - Maintain accurate records of quality assurance & quality control activities, inspections and non-conformance reports.
  • Supplier and Vendor Management - Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality materials and components, ensuring their compliance and supporting of Company quality management obligations.
  • Training - Support project teams to ensure compliance, as well as ongoing product & quality improvement. Develop and deliver training programs to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the Company.
  • Auditing - Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits to assess and improve our quality management system.
  • Customer Satisfaction - Understand customer needs and requirements in order to develop, amend or improve effective quality control processes to support project delivery, and closely monitor customer feedback in order to address any quality-related concerns promptly.

Requirements;

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in quality management within the HVAC or mechanical engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
  • Proficiency in quality management standards and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Quality Manager or similar accredited certification.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office).
