As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Quality Department, including Quality Engineers, Inspectors, and Auditors.
  • Maintain and continually improve the AS9100 Quality Management System.
  • Oversee internal, customer, and third-party audits.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure effective root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
  • Manage supplier quality performance and conduct supplier audits.
  • Act as the key contact for customer quality concerns and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes Required:

  • Proven experience in a Quality Management role within aerospace or a similar highly regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Experience leading audits and managing QMS systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and inspection techniques.
  • Lean / Six Sigma qualifications (desirable).
