QUALITY MANAGER - RAIL STATION UPGRADE (CROSSRAIL)


We are currently looking to recruit a Engineering Quality Manager with previous Crossrail experience to work on a major station upgrade project in Central London. Our client is a Tier 1 Main Contractor who has been awarded a multimillion dollar construction package with approximately 8-12 months of work remaining in the contract.

The successful candidate must possess a strong understanding of Crossrail standards and experience in project handover certification is ESSENTIAL. Package of works will mainly be related to MEP, Civils and Fitout so previous experience in these fields is highly desirable.


Key responsibilities for this role will include:

Ensuring that a Project Quality Plan and associated processes are in place to deliver right first time to client specification.

Ensuring the project processes meet or exceed the requirements of the BMS and that any amendments are clearly stated in the Project Quality Plan.

Support project team with QA process, review management document and lead document submission in accordance to document management plan

Liaise with PM and QA Area Manager to plan and support QA Audits.

Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

Estimate, prioritise, plan, and coordinate testing activities. Ensure that all the records and packages are completed in accordance to Process.

Undertake quality inspection.

Providing training and support as required.

Ensure that appropriate inspection and test plans are in place

The successful applicant will require:

Degree in Civil Engineering or HND Equivalent

Hold a formal qualification in Engineering, Quality Management (e.g. Diploma in Quality Management) or construction equivalent

Working knowledge of Crossrail Quality Standards

Experience in project closeout and handover certification

Experience in delivering MEP / Rail / Civil Packages highly desirable
