Quantity Surveyor
Location: Within 1 hour commute of Rushden
Business Area: Build Eastern
Contract: Permenant, full time

Kier Construction Eastern are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Rushden who has a wealth of knowledge throughout the main contracting market, working on projects from £5-40m. Reporting into the Commercial Manager.
The Rushden team have completed some outstanding projects to date and, with a full order book for the coming years, are in place to continue this performance. Kier Group believes in developing existing staff and providing the opportunity for longevity in their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
In this exciting role, you'll manage the commercial resources of the assigned project and provide commercial expertise to contracts including valuation submissions, budgets, subcontract management, change control and workstream performance data. You'll also assess and mitigate against the commercial and contractual risks and implement our Kier Group policies for risk management. You'll be tasked with maximising cash flow through the relevant controls and valuation of work.
What are we looking for?
Ideally you will have experience from a similar role and in a similar background. You'll be proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel and demonstrate strong communication and organisational abilities.
