Quantity Surveyor Job in Oxford
Quantity Surveyor Job: This is an opportunity for a Pre-Construction Quantity Surveyor to join a top 20 house builder in their office in Oxfordshire.
This national house builder has been established for over 45 years and have won several awards for the quality homes they build, their focus is to design and build timber framed houses to a high specification.
Role & Responsibilities
- Review and negotiating bespoke and standard forms of contracts such as JCT and SBC sub-contracts
- Reviewing and negotiating all contracts (except existing frameworks)
- Managing all credit agreements/negotiations
- Attends all pre-construction client meetings
- Provide a full handover of each project to Quantity Surveyors
- Assisting with the preparation of commercial quotation documents
- Reviewing credit references, preparing cash flow analyses
- Presenting contracts that are ready for execution to the Commercial Manager, Head of Commercial & Commercial Director and seeking their approval to proceed
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Able to negotiate bespoke, JCT and SBC contracts
- Volume house building experience
