Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Stevenage

Business area: Kier Utilities - UKPN Alliance

Contract: 45 hours a week Full-time.

We are now recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Kier Utilities - UKPN Alliance in Stevenage to be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within the project teams liaising with the Partner Commercial Lead, Project Engineers, Procurement Coordinators, Planners, Site Team Leaders and Site Managers.
  • You will assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial management for an allocated programme area of an embedded alliance contract.
  • as part of the Commercial Team overseen by the Commercial Manager assisting with the control of costs, maximising value, minimising future liabilities and maintaining the required standard of quality and safety.
What do we need from you?

  • You need to have strong commercial awareness
  • An understanding of budgeting, cost control, risk mitigation, and business targets and reporting requirements
  • Experience in the role.
  • Experience of NEC3 framework
  • Good understanding of Alliance Contract delivery
