Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Gloucester

Business Area: Kier Utilities- Wester Power Distribution

Contract: Permanent- Full Time

We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services and we are now recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Utilities team in Gloucester, working on our framework with Western Power Distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure commercially our tenders are assessed correctly and risks are identified
  • Liaise with project teams to carry out reviews of progress against contract margins and ensure subcontractors are in line with Kier procedures
  • Ensure cash flow is maximised and assist the team with month end reporting
  • Run weekly Cost and Plant reports and review operations highlighting any variance with Average
What do we need from you?

  • Hold a Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
  • Experience working with a variety of construction contracts
