Location: A mixture of our Hatherleigh office and remote working, along with regular travel to office/ sites
Contract: Permanent, full time
Responsibilities
Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected.
In this role, you will be working on our MEICA Capital Works Framework, delivering a variety of upgrade and new build schemes on South West Water's (SWW) Water / Wastewater Treatment Works across the region.
As Quantity Surveyor, you will support the team, focusing on the reactive maintenance and small planned works aspects of the Contract.
Your day to day will include:
- Ensuring orders are in place for works carried out
- Accurate maintenance of records
- Working with the operations team to ensure sound cost management
- Liaison with the Client to ensure accurate billing
- Submission of change management notifications under the NEC form of contract
- Assist with month end reporting and ensure cash flow is maximised
Who are we looking for?
This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
- You hold a degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or have experience of working in a commercial environment
- Experience working with NEC form of contracts.
